On February 14, 2024, Dr. Hans Overgaard from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), PANDASIA principal investigator, and Mohamed Gawad, PANDASIA project manager, engaged in a virtual forum of European Union-supported projects to showcase their approaches to addressing questions related to pandemic preparedness with the goal of identifying potential collaborations. The event titled “Connecting European Initiatives in Pandemic Preparedness” was hosted by ESCAPE, another European Union research project that was designed to enhance scientific discussion and collaboration for better decision-making towards Europe’s preparedness for a pandemic.
