PANDASIA’s Work Package 3 and Work Package 4 laid out plans for the field collection and transport of animal samples in Pong Nam Ron and Soi Dao Districts, Chanthaburi Province. The province is home to a wildlife sanctuary. Professor Hans Overgaard, Principal Investigator of the PANDASIA project, facilitated the meeting held in March 2024 at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. Dr. Overgaard also welcomed master’s students from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) who are currently writing their graduate theses in collaboration with Khon Kaen University and PANDASIA.
